Who are we?

EES is a nonprofit child development agency that has provided high-quality early education programs to low-income families throughout San Diego County since 1979. We annually educate over 1,300 children at 19 preschool locations in Chula Vista, National City, Linda Vista, and Vista.

Research shows that 90% of a child's brain development occurs in the first five years of life. Early experiences and relationships build the foundation for future learning, good health, and life success. 

Each and every donation goes to support our students, our families, and our staff. EES is grounded in the whole child, whole family, whole community approach. We empower children to enter the classroom experience through hands-on play and our educational programs are culturally and linguistically tailored to meet the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of each individual student. We also increase family access to important support services, including health, housing, nutrition, and parent education programs. Your donation truly benefits San Diego children and families.
