Our Mission: Inspiring wellness in the digital age. 

Experience Nature Unplugged is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides education and training to promote preventative mental health solutions that inspire wellness in the digital age. Since 2012, our work has been focused on addressing the declining mental health of tweens, teens and young adults in a digitally saturated, nature-deficient society. For example: The average teen in the US checks their phones 150 times a day and spends 90% of their time indoors. We’re seeing an increase in anxiety, depression, isolation, and suicide among teens and young adults. We believe connecting with nature and building healthy relationships with technology is at the core of a solution.
